There are some pictures in this world that are so perfect they need to be celebrated in every way possible.

This photo of Jack Gleeson (a.k.a. King Joffrey from Game of Thrones) hugging a mildly disturbed-looking pug definitely falls into that category.

Obviously that photo is already as close to perfect as any picture can get, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be enjoyed to its fullest potential.

In this case, that can only mean one thing: Photoshop battle.

The battle kicked off on r/photoshopbattles on Monday.

Unsurprisingly, there were plenty of Game of Thronesreferences.

Things quickly got more obscure...

"Nymeria still keeps biting me!" read the caption for that one.

...And darker...

...Until eventually the whole thing went entirely off the rails.

(This one is probably our favourite.)

Still, all good things must come to an end at some point.
