Here's George W. Bush trying his best to figure out how ponchos work at the inauguration

Former President George W. Bush attended the inauguration of Donald Trump on Jan. 20 and tried his best to deal with the rain.

Unfortunately, Bush wasn't able to figure out how ponchos work in time to stay dry.

Images of the 43rd president struggling to figure out a one piece slip-over poncho led to some of the day's best jokes.

Poncho mixup aside, Bush seemed to be in a giddy mood as Trump was sworn into office. The former POTUS and current painter of dogs was photographed smiling ear-to-ear, throwing thumbs up and peeking around at old friends excitedly.
