Not sure how to influence the president of the United States?

Well, someone set up a reminder at Donald Trump's hotel just a few blocks away from the White House.

Not exactly the message Trump wants going around as he deals with a Washington Postreport that claims he disclosed highly classified information to Russian officials last week.

The Postalso confirmed the prank at Trump Hotel, so we know it's not just a clever Photoshop job.

In case the word "bribe" was too vague, the prankster or pranksters elaborated with an "Emoluments Welcome" sign and a very long block of text.

That text is the "Emoluments Clause," a provision of the Constitution written to prevent U.S. lawmakers from being corrupted with cash or gifts from foreign leaders.

How does this apply to Trump? Well, he has foreign dignitaries paying to stay at his hotel, business leaders paying to be members of Mar-a-Lago, and property deals in countries ruled by leaders he interacts with as president.

Coincidentally, the flags from two countries were displayed on the building: Turkey (a country with an increasingly autocratic leader where Trump has business ties) and, of course, Russia.
